Artist Statement:
In the midst of darkness, light persists, filling the darkness with vivid colours and beautiful patterns. To me, Kaleidoscope represnts the mind of a creative person which enable him/her to picture wonderful images despite the lack of physical light penetrating into the eyes. Another meaning is that, when you look into the kaleidoscope, you see something beautiful but after you turn it, destroying what is there, you see something different but equally beautiful. Life is much the same as the Kaleidoscope. After being tilted, it will reveal something different and beautiful, but only if we take the time to hold it up to the light and look inside.
