Crayola Possibilities Campaign

Crayola "Possibilities" Campaign

The following are examples from ads for a Crayola campaign which was created for an advanced advertising class at the Reynolds School of Journalism.

The target audience for these ads is moms, ages 25-50 who have at least one child in elementary school with an income of $50,000 or higher.

The promise of the ads is that Crayola products inspire children's imaginations, allowing them to create anything they can dream of.  This is shown through showcasing drawings done by actual children which moms have sent in paired with the tagline "make_____possible."

These ads would appear online--think mom blogs, facebook sidebars, etc--and would lead moms to Crayola's facebook page and website where they could upload their child's picture for a chance to
win Crayola products and have their child's creation appear in a Crayola "Possibilities" advertisement.

According to socialmediaexaminer.com, the number of moms who use social media has increased nearly five times since 2006 and 76 percent of moms are fan of at least one company or product.  Also, according to marketingvox.com, women between the ages of 25 and 54 with at least one child who participate regularly in online activities represent 19.2% of the active internet population in the US.
