Personal Branding

As an upcoming designer, I have always sought to build a strong visual identity for myself. This made me want to create a logo for myself that not only represents who I am, but also the kind of work I produce and endorse. I went about doing so, by deciding to use a pair of eyes, symbolizing my expressive and reflective nature.
I chose to highlight my quirkiness by subtly changing the eyeballs in the logo. This was also meant to make the logo seem visually interesting. The thick strokes are reminiscent of my illustration style, which features a lot of bold colourful lines. Since I identify myself as a print design student, who predominantly work with CMYK, I decided to incorporate that into my design. I have used the four colours as my primary colour palette.

Realising that my personal identity would be incomplete without my name, I decided to stylise it in text and integrate it a way such that I was able to create an impression of a face. .
The fusion of these elements ultimately gave form to my logo.
