The Bike NYC campaign inspired New Yorkers to take advantage of the City's new  bike path infrastructure, view cycling as an easy way to get around, and combat the 'lone wolf' image of the rogue cyclist.

Although the campaign launched in 2011 during a much-publicized debate over new bike lanes, it received a positive response from the media as well as New Yorkers: According to the DOT, the City has seen double-digit growth in bike ridership for four straight years -- effectively doubling the number of regular cyclists on our streets.
