The brief for this project called for the adaption of a multi-level retail unit to a current commercial building. The building chosen was a bar called the Odeon in Dublin City Centre.  The retail unit was a well known Spanish outlet called Sfera.  A new brand identity was also to be created.  The concept for the design of the store is based on an art deco form  called the sunburst. This was chosen after sketching the current bar itself  which had many art deco design aspects.  Sketches show the progress of  how shapes from the starburst began to transfer into 3d forms.   The main departments within the retail unit include menswear, womens- wear, homewear, fragrance department and accessories department, as well as a coffee shop. The plans and 
section were designed to suit these departments in the most efficient and suited manner possible. Research on main competitors such as Zara helped with design of this layout.
