This project is about choosing a typographer who designed one of the typefaces on the
list that given in the class, and using that typeface to create a poster that reflects the nature of the typefaces, typographer, orera in which typeface was created. For this poster project, I chose to do “Futura,” designed by Paul Renner in 1927.

 

In this poster, I tried to keep the design very simple and balanced. I put the designer’s name “Paul Renner” in between the middle and the bottom of the page. I focused on his name, because this poster is about the designer’s retrospedctive exhibition. Renner is the typographer, so I avoided using too many decorative designs in order to keep focus on the type.
