These photographs were taken between April 2nd - June 18th of 2011, from a journey back home after 11 years. 

As I started strolling its streets, I began to see this city from a completely different point of view than when I had lived there.  I had not realized the beauty and the uniqueness of it back then. At a time when I thought I was done with it for good, I fell in love.

Now, looking from outside in, these photographs attempt to represent the diversity and complexity of one big city where history was made, which I now miss endlessly.
