Technology definitely played a huge role in gathering inspiration for my project.  I have used Pinterest for most of my inspiration. By searching for content such a s monsters that could live in an environment like this one and pictures of vector environments.  I used these inspirations to create a monster. Then I used that monster that I created on the inspiration from pinterest to form an environment around my creature. On pinterest I found multiple monsters that would definitely live in an arctic tundra. So then i went on to search for vector pictures that represented the cold and the snow.

I would have had to complete my project on paper. I would also prefer to use colored pencils because colored pencils are the easiest for me to use when doing gradients. It would be important for me to be able to do gradients well because I used a lot of gradients in my vector landscape. However, it would be harder to to overlap shapes because the color on the bottom shape would show through. Without technology this project would become much tougher and would definitely take longer.

Technology enables me to learn more from other artists because I am able to come up with ideas to make my project more detailed such as when I used the idea of putting northern lights into the sky of my vector landscape. Another example of how technology has enabled me learn more from other artists by seeing different techniques such as how to use different color themes to get a different feeling across in your piece such as coldness.

Above is my final sketch for this project.
