BIDF(Busan International Dance Festival) Poster.
Every year, ‘Busan International Dance Festival’ is held in Busan, Korea.
Busan is the 2nd city of Korea and the 1st trade port and so tourist attractions have been developed thanks to the beautiful seas.
To express the characteristics of the event and the regional characteristics simultaneously, I looked for the similarities between the movement of a dancer and the bobbing-up-and-down of the seas and expressed them with simplified lines.
While I wanted to express the feelings of the sea in new ways, I was inspired by [Henri Matisse]'s work [polynesia the sky].
