Many days ago, I started to write my idea book. The book is still in development. One day I wondered what if I develop my own font to write the book. So I included a chapter in the book how I can develop a font that is unique. Another reason for developing the font is to make it distinctive from the other font that is visually different from traditional font. Therefore, the goal was to make the appearance of the font so different that at first impression it does not look like English. It helped me lot when I did write in library. Though people do not care what I am writing but it irritates me when someone look at my screen. The font gave me an impression that the person behind me do not think I am writing in English. Only one simple thing I kept in my mind when I develop the font: When all the letters of the font are superimposed, they create a common shape and the common shape is the letter o/O. I think o/O is the only letter that has similarity with our lips when it pronounces the letter (Or may not as I am not an expert in this field). Therefore, The font also helped me a lot to find all o/Os in my book. I do not want to make this project profile descriptive. You will find some other information regarding this font at the end of this page. Thank you for your time.
CSS Animations
Here is some features that I considered when I develop this font:
1. The font will be very thin. Only highdpi printer will be required print the font at base size (usually 9pt).
2. The font will have baseline with no descender and constant ascender.
3. The font will start from single base.
4. When the characters overlap, they will create unique common shape.
5. The font will have very few kerning requirement.
6. The font will be properly spaced.
7. The italic version will be real italic not a slanted version.
8. The font will be sans serif.
9. Punctuation should be included.
10. The font should be shared with others.
Therefore, I considered the rounded square with cross. I did not apply any kerning. I tried to make the font properly spaced. Italic version is created manually like the regular version. At this moment the font contains 118 glyphs incuding puncuations. Those were enough for me until now. If you need more I will try to add them later.
