Paper crane sounds familiar to all the people in this world, but do they know the history behind it? Almost everyone is able to create a paper crane, but it was actually the basic knowledge of origami.

 

This exhibition catalogue will explains more about the history of origami together with its different types. Aside from that, as a starting point, this catalogue will tells people the basic things they should understand to start their own creative work. These basic things are including techniques, materials and tools used to create an art over a plain paper.

 

Not only this catalogue will talk about origami and its history and techniques, it will also talk about a few well-known people who are into origami and created a different type of origami. This people usually called the origamist. These few well-known people were making origami not just for fun or leisure, but also they try to apply the creation they have made to put it into design. From interior design to an action figure, they made it all from a scratch of paper. Different artists are using different method of origami therefore they produced different things from each other.
