We had to create a wood framing model after learning about wood framing. It is meant to function as a cabin in the woods equipped with a loft. Each post has to be 16 inches on center apart. Around windows and doors there is a king stud, jack stud, cripples, lintel, and sill.  We included a foundation as well. We also had to have an interesting component, and we chose to construct an interesting roof design. We first wanted to create a star-roof, but realized that would take too long to complete, but we still used a portion of that design and trusses
