This assignment was for my Sophmore Design course. We had to do research on something that highly interested us. I chose German Expressionism in film. We were then instructed to take our reports and turn them into magazine layouts. From this project, we learned about the grid structure and how to make layouts look appealing to the casual reader. I chose a red, black, and white palette since i felt that it would naturally go with the subject.
