Objective: Create wireframes and a new site architecture for the Yale School of Art website. 

 

Concept: The current website is chaotic, loud, and confusing. Navigation through information is difficult and there is no hierarchy or organizational system put in place. To combat this, I narrowed down categories into three main tabs with five smaller tabs. To eliminate the visual clutter I applied a contemporary art gallery treatment; lots of white space with one main image to focus on. This provides a calmer approach and pensive feeling to the original design while still maintaining an artistic feel.
