Identity Desigh for the typeface Frutiger designed by Swiss Type Designer Adrian Frutiger. Creating an indentity for a typeface is quite challenging. Some background study revealed that this typefcae was designed to be used in airport signage since its very legible because of its long ascenders and descenders. 

 

An information board was created that cpatured the key aspects of the background story of the typeface that served as a moodboard for the identity design.

 

The final identity incorporated arrows, a very common visual element of signage. The concept was extended to merchandise ideas that included signage for a designer's workstation.
