This project was based on the craft study done on the tradional Kambal weaving by Gareri's of Bihar. An innovative product was then proposed on the basis of research done on the use of the craft and how new design skills can create an interest into it.

The stripe comes from the design language of the traditional weaving style of Gareri's.

Lazer cut curved forms woven in such a way that the narrow area goes into the weave and the curved forms are looped up manually to create an interesting texture.
A Stylised Rug based on geometric forms that overlap in places creating colour interaction. The basic stripe rhythm followed all over making the base fabric interesting.
Weave: Dari weaving with manual looping out of laser cut forms.
