I launched Modern Patchwork with Editorial Director Helen Gregory in Fall 2012. Shown here is the Winter 2015 issue. It was photogrtaphed by Hornick Rivlin Studio in Waltham MA. Sandy Rivlin and I work hand-in-hand to style each stunning photograph with a minimal, modern aesthetic.
I was inspired by a typography workshop I recently attended to go bold and large with the gallery section openers for this issue. I used the magazine fonts to create large initials, and filled them with a patchwork collage of the projects in each section.
