The first recorded eyewitness account of these "Tall Beings" took place in mid June 1974, when a woman on her usual night walk routine after work, saw across the street, what looked like a walking lamp post. The authorities dismissed her story and all subsequent accounts as hallucinations, fantasies, or simply under the influence of illegal substances, to which all alleged witnesses have been brought in for questioning and later subjected to drug-induced amnesia. Approximately 1000 cases of disappearances of both persons and household pets across the US are being filed annually under this category. Despite the number, all records have been effectively removed from public archives. As for the immediate family members and relations of the missing victims, they have all been systematically silenced by bribes or threats and life-long incarceration for those whom are unwilling to cooperate. Eventually, all traces of evidence have been blacked out from the reach of the public, reducing the whole issue into mere rumors and speculations, or misinformation by suspected human trafficking, kidnapping, or even death by murder or accidents.
It wasn't until the summer of 1987, when the FBI confiscated several private video recordings of what appears to be a series of tall beings resembling lamp posts, which took the whole issue to another level. Official reports consistently describe these beings to be about at a minimum of 9 to an excess of 15 feet tall, relative to the height and appearance of the lamp posts present in their vicinity.
To date, there are no known scientific and militaristic methods to pinpoint and contain these entities, as their modus operandi defy all logic and rationality, giving credence to the idea that these beings may be extradimensional of nature. Until such methods have been found and proven effective, the public are advised to avoid nightly strolls on seemingly desolate streets, especially when unaccompanied by a group of people. It is also advisable to report any instances of lamp posts going on or off when passed by, or any repetitive occurrence of strange behavior by animals around such alleged anomalies.
Some say it's for this very reason why the government, installed CCTVs on certain road networks and exterior of buildings across the country, where these beings have been reported to be most active. Not because their purpose was to observe traffic and catch instances of crimes, but mainly to observe the appearances of these entities. It has been proven that they can be observed effectively via remote surveillance.
Till this day all missing cases filed under this category has yet to be found and resolved, despite growing fears that the abductees may no longer be alive.
