The heart is a vital organ. It is identified as the centre of the physical body, and thus considered the core of emotion, intellect and purpose. The heart is connected to a network of blood vessels that carry the blood throughout the body, and without this we would not survive. For this reason, I chose to represent the heart in one of my photograms as it releases cells into the body and in my other photogram, I chose to represent a blood vessel transporting cells. I feel like my images connect well together but can still be represented alone as they are both important to any living thing.
