THE PREMISE:

LEAVING BEHIND A SERIES OF WORK THAT REFLECTS THE ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH THEY ARE PLACED.

The Corcoran Museum of Art (now a part of the National Gallery) sits defunct and empty.
I appropriated the North Atrium to leave behind insignificantly small and functional work to fill an empty space that is traversed only by students and building security.

Notebooks and a title card were placed in the center of the North Atrium, photographed, and then abandoned. When this work was taken, it was then replaced with another.
