My one requirement for this project was to use only type in telling the story of the sinking of the SS Edmund Fitzgerald. The poster portrays what happened during the last 24 hours before the freighter sank in Lake Superior on November 10, 1975. 

The text on the left shows the movement of time over the last 24 hours between the weather reports and radio transmission that occured. All 29 crew members of the Fitzgerald died in the sinking with no survivors. They are all remembered with their name and positions that they held. The background is the lyrics of the Wreck of Edmund Fitzgerald by Gordon Lightfoot. It demonstrates how the speed and height of the waves were during the storm.
