About the Project: Cowboys Indians
This project was for an independent western drama entitled Cowboys Indians. My work included website design and coding XHTML, CSS from scratch though I admitadly had lots of support from a stellar team to impliment some dynamic functionality including an inline player to watch chapters of the film. I implemented JavaScript libraries such as video js and incorporated a jquery slider on the extras page. Some unique coding challenges included a full screen video trailer looping in the background with sound, and required mute when the trailer or music videos were selected to play.
Some work unique to this project included subtle CSS transitions and blurring to create a modern interactive film website feel without building any elements in flash. Creating the gif animations for promotional materials was a fun throwback.
The fullscreen video background with auto play was not a possibility for mobile so an entirely seperate mobile site was designed and built using JQuery mobile to create an ideal ergonomic experience on mobile devices.
