Based off a Norwegian fairy tale called "Ungdomslandet.
Story:
I a land far away, the king wants to feel young again. He sends his three sons out to find the mysterious "land of youth" were it is said, that apples which will make you young grow.
The youngest son meets two old hags along the way, who helps him on his quest. The seahag blows a mighty horn and calls the whale.
The boy rides the whale to the land of youth. He steals the apple from the princess's chambers. But is chased by the army a long way into the sea. Finally after he escapes, takes farewell with the hag and the whale he reaches back to the king.
The apple makes his father young again. But he can't stop thinking about the beautiful princess he saw, in the land of youth. He decides to go back. Once again he gets help from the seahag and the whale. And he is told that the princess is under a spell that makes her invisible at night. He breaks the spell and wins her heart.
They become married and two countries are united with them.
