Simple Things (2024); Work in Progress

The movie "Simple Things" is about a simple wooden chair determined to make a space in a world of more glamorous and fancy chairs with unique functions. The story seeks to depict how simplicity does not mean that it is lesser than the more sophisticated/stylish/complex ideas. At the end of the day the intended message needs to get across and a function needs to be served, everything else comes second. Therefore people with simple ideas need to have confidence in themselves. You might have feelings of insecurity from the complexity and glamor of others but know that it is their own journey and their own way of perceiving things and achieving a function, the same that you do.

The story proceeds with a wooden chair going for an interview among other chairs and it gets to experience an unexpected turn of events.
