After Russia invaded Ukraine, many Russians left the country. Some left because of persecution by the authorities and the police, some did not want to support this bloody Putin regime, some left to escape mobilization. Sakartvelo has become a new home for many Russians. Every February 24, the day the war began, they gather in Tbilisi, Batumi and other cities of Sakartvelo to express their support for Ukraine and, albeit from a distance, to oppose the bloody Putin regime. They are also trying to convey to the whole world that not all Russians are murderers and not all Russians support all the horror that is happening in Ukraine.
