This was created for an assignment in my postgraduate illustration course, where the goal was to come up with a story involving a departing train and three characters: a ticket vendor, a clumsy person, and a hurried individual.
I crafted this scenario where the ticket vendor is Moacir (name suggested in a poll I ran on my stories), a chubby, middle-aged, sleepy man; Verônica, a nerdy university student who is flustered and clumsily searching for her card somewhere at the bottom of her backpack; and Rodrigo, a musician who left his friend's wedding late and is running behind for a gig elsewhere in the city.
The station was inspired by Luz Station of CPTM in São Paulo.
