Hi, here are woven prototypes of the dish cloth inspired by Sonya Clark's exhibition at MAD Museum in New York. It's not well known American history that a domestic kitchen cloth ended the civil war. I'm working on samples using simple materials to weave the design. These range in utility from functional, to a child can create, to decorative. I'll be posting more later including how to create yourself or with your child or students to learn together. Read my exhibition essay review.

Artists have been some of my best teachers and the dish cloth patterns are in the spirit of research that I started over two years ago. However I may develop a kit in the future to create an ease in gathering materials for classroom teachers. The videos are in progress and will be available soon.
