Covid-19 a few momento photographs

TZFM201 SPRING 2024 TEAM 3
December 2019 saw the start of the Coronavirus Disease, Covid-19 for short. The first case in the UK was found on 31 January 2020. Key lockdowns were introduced two months later. Lateral flow tests were introduced in late 2020 and it wasn't long before signs went up 'Vax Kills' in various parts of the country. I have found one such sign, rather washed-out in Louth, a pavement sign as to where one should stand, a notice outside a pub asking everyone to stay safe but offering take-away meals. I have started cleaning out a cupboard where we stored the kits, which are now out of date. I thought it worth publishing a few photos as mementos, as memory soon fades.
A typical pavement sign, the sort of which soon spread throughout the country.
This type of sign soon appeared outside many a public house, many offering 'take-aways' for the first time, just trying to keep open.
The NHS posted out millions of test kits for use at home
This test kit expired on 07.01.2024.
This envelope contained the tubes below.
The top of the tube was cut off and the liquid squirted in the buffer tube and then the sampling swab dipped into it. One line was good, but two lines meant you probably had Covid.
This packet contained the sampling sway that was used to swab the nose and throat.
A "Vax Kills' sign was sprayed onto someone's garden gate. Only now have efforts been made to remove it.
Please note that the sign has been repainted, on 14 May 2024
All the empty cardboard boxes have gone into the recycling box.
I put this project on Behance two days ago and showed a photograph of this garden gate, stating the words 'Vax Kills' had almost worn away and then lo and behold, walking past the same gate last night, the graffiti artist has updated the sign.
