On March 20, 2024, UCSI University Springhill celebrated the launch of its Post-Basic Critical Care Nursing (CCN) Programme and the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management (SHTM). The event featured speeches by Yang Berbahagia Puan Devi, Director of Nursing from the Malaysia Nursing Board, and Dr Vicknesh Krishnan, Vice President of the Healthcare Division from the Malaysia Healthcare Travel Council.
The launch highlighted the strategic synergy between the new CCN programme and UCSI's healthcare initiatives, aiming to elevate healthcare services. Additionally, the event showcased UCSI's commitment to establishing Springhill as a leading hub for medical tourism as part of the UCSI Health Metropolis. The event concluded with a tour of UCSI Hospital and the cutting-edge nursing lab, providing attendees with a firsthand experience of the advanced facilities and educational resources available.
