WAR
Distant booms (thump...thump) rumble like a faraway storm. A shrill whistle screams (WHEEEEEE!) - mortar incoming! Ground explodes (CRACK!), shaking everything. Shouts erupt (orders, curses!), then a relentless rattle (rat-a-tat-tat) as machine guns open fire.
