Design Brief
About the project :
For this project, we were required to create a name, logo, and food truck wrap graphic for a food truck that sells recipes made from insects.
Target Audience :
Wealtier individuals and health-conscious people.
Research :
We found out that bugs contain more protein than regular meat such as beef, pork, chicken, fish and will be a great choice for a tich protein meals. Since we are targeting wealthier individuals, NYC and the surrounding would be a great location for out food truch with nearly 9 millions of people in the city alone and NYC has higher income with $75k annually. From one research article we encountered, wealthier individuals tend to be more health conscious. And, found that Mediteranian such as Italian cuisine is known to be one of the healthiest cuisine because they incorporate healthy fat such as olive oil, therefore we came with the idea of an ant carrying an olive to be the logo.
Objective :
To attract wealthier people to buy our Italian bug cuisine.
Design problem :
How to design a food truck wrap that is succeffully showcasing what we sell and attract our target audience?

We decided to make the food truck design to showcase bugs (ants) carrying fallen green olives with a large cursive sentence across the bottom part of the truck. The color choice of black is to represent "status", Ivory represents "elegance", and olive to represent the color of olive (which known in the Mediteranian / Italian cuisince).
