Foam Clay Figurine Project By Kaci Lowe P.2

When thinking about 3D projects such as clay figurines, I tend to imagine mythical and fictional creatures but in real-life form. One of my first prototypes were a fairy-leaf tablet, but I was determined to create a devil plushie, and that is the name of my project.

The prototyping was the most difficult part, modeling the clay while also saving clay for other parts of the body was tedious. I also had to improvise due to the lack of colors. It took about 3 different retries to successfully complete my Devil Plushie prototype.

My final project was much easier due to the soft mendable texture of the foam clay. I used very little tools when creating the geometric shapes, so I can say the project was mostly hand made. Followed by creating the stand/background, I am pretty proud of my project and what I'm capable of creating from my imagination.
