Project Background
The JDRF is a non-profit organization that funds research for the development of a cure for Type 1 diabetes. Every year the St. Louis Chapter of the JDRF holds their own fundraising event following the national JDRF One Walk. I volunteered my services and designed a poster for the event, the Kegs & Eggs Breakfast.
The only requirements set forth were to get all of the required information to fit in the available 11x17" space, I had creative freedom from there. The event takes place in the morning, so I started with a sun motif in the background and just had fun with it from there. Overall the project was a great opportunity to play with the design and do some good at the same time.
