PHOTO DIARY / KYOTO KYOCERA MUSEUM OF ART
The sakura trees and the mountain in the background on my walk to the museum were surely beautiful; but the blazing sun had also been burning my forehead off and was generally unforgiving that day. So I was especially grateful to find the main entrance, well-shaded at the lower level, when I walked down the slope. This 'glass ribbon' really set the tone for the interior for me. And for the next hour or so, I would be trying to capture my favourite curves and corners at the museum (and taking two trips to the atrium — because you just have to).
