The Weeping Woman | Recreation Painting

The Weeping Woman
“The Weeping Woman” was painted in 1937 by Pablo Picasso in a cubist art style that depicted an upset woman as the subject. This piece of art was my choice for my two-dimensional art class recreation project.  I chose this painting because I found it to be the most interesting to do out of the various options given to me. I used acrylic paint for my painting, as it was the easiest for me to work with. I had a lot of fun with this project when it came to mixing the colors and perfecting the linework. Art History, History, and Art lovers may enjoy looking at the piece.
