Foam Clay Figurine Project

Foam Clay Figurine Project
In this photo, here is where I've completed my research for what I wanted. Once I gathered my ideas of my figurines I sketched out the many pieces I wanted and the colors of the pieces and the potential background color. To sketch I used a pencil and crayons for the colors that I wanted. To find ideas I used google and pinterest.
In this second photo I've began to create prototypes. To create these prototypes I used playdoh to imitate the foam clay since the prototype is a test build. I had some small errors that are able to be fixed, but the prototypes helped decide how my designs were going to be placed when I built them.
In this photo, I've completed my project. To start I created the body figure. I made them into separate pieces two balls big and small for the head and body. Then four long pieces for arms and legs and two small circles for eyes. I then glued them together. I created the flowers in two shades of blue and two shades of purple. I also created the roses. I painted a flower pot green for the grass and then glued all my pieces and figures to the pots. To add final touches I got a light blue paper and added it to the back to represent as ask.
