"My Trip To Merrion Square" Zine (Preview)
About The Project
I was asked to create a zine based on Merrion Square. I came up with the idea of an American girl visiting Merrion Square Park and admiring the views it has to offer. I took many photos of the location to ensure that I was successful and accurate in capturing it in my zine. For the illustrations in this zine, I wanted them to have a "dreamy" hazy look so I incorporated Gaussian blur and noise filters in my pieces. The three pieces you see here are previews of the full zine, which was featured at DCAF (Dublin Comics Art Festival.)
