Journey with Jennie

Imagine a world where every family can experience the magic of Disney without breaking the bank. That's the vision behind Journey with Jennie, where I am driven by a mission: to inspire and impact families with the wonder of Disney travel while combining it with convenience and affordability.

I am constantly challenging myself to find new ways to make the Disney experience accessible to all, and that starts by reimagining what a travel agency can offer. I want to show that planning a Disney vacation can be seamless, affordable, and filled with excitement. Along the way, I have discovered that it takes passion, creativity, and innovation to make that dream a reality.

Every journey begins with a desire. Mine was simple: Disney vacations are often seen as expensive luxuries, out of reach for many families and my family faced the same dilemma. I realized that planning a Disney trip often meant navigating through costly packages and confusing options.

The travel industry, particularly Disney-focused, seemed dominated by high-priced offerings, leaving many families yearning for a magical experience without breaking the bank.

Journey with Jennie was born to change this narrative. By crafting personalized Disney itineraries and fostering direct relationships with my clients, I am able to offer unparalleled Disney travel experiences at prices that won't break the bank.

For me, planning a Disney vacation isn't just a service; it's an enchanting experience in itself. Each itinerary is crafted with care and precision, aiming to leave families thrilled and eagerly anticipating their upcoming adventure.

Journey with Jennie embodies a straightforward concept: exceptional Disney experiences yield extraordinary outcomes. Through dedication, innovation, and a commitment to affordability, I invite families to embark on unforgettable Disney journeys without compromise.
My Journey
Hi! I’m Jennie Chatelain Stilley and I was born in Metairie, Louisiana in 1988. I grew up going to a Catholic School in the city until my family moved to Albany, Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina. I have one brother who is four years younger than me. My parents divorced shortly after my brother’s high school graduation in 2011.

I attended multiple colleges trying to figure out what degree I wanted to pursue. Being a first-generation college student, I did not have much guidance from my parents. In 2007, I started as a freshman at Louisiana State University majoring in Pre-Med. In 2008, I transferred to Southeastern Louisiana University where I majored in Nursing. In 2009, I transferred to Delgado/Charity Nursing School to continue majoring in Nursing. While in Nursing School I realized nursing was not the field for me. I had a very compassionate teacher who helped me realize that even though I didn’t want to waste any more time changing my major again, I could not be stuck doing something I didn’t love for the rest of my life. So, in 2011, I transferred back to Southeastern Louisiana University and I finally received my Bachelor of General Studies with a concentration in Applied Sciences in 2014.

I married my high-school sweetheart in 2013 and over the next eight years, we welcomed three precious sons. Preston, my oldest, is eight; Brantley, my middle, is five; and Lincoln, my youngest, is two.

We live on an inherited family farm surrounded by my husband’s family. My boys are true “country boys” and help raise the chickens, pigs, horses, cows, etc. I was a stay-at-home mom for the first eight years of parenthood and I loved the opportunity to devote all my time to my family but as my boys grew older I knew it was time for a change. In December 2022, I was hired by my alma mater to join their team as a Financial Aid Counselor. Now I spend my days determining financial aid eligibility and advising students.

Growing up I always had a deep-seated love for anything Disney. From the animated films to the magical theme parks, Disney has always held a special place in my heart. I have fond memories of visiting Walt Disney World as a child and now with my own family. The parks hold a special place in my heart, and returning as an adult evokes feelings of nostalgia and sentimentality. Walt Disney World also provides an escape from the stresses of everyday life. Stepping into the magic of the parks allows you to leave your worries behind and focus on fun, excitement, and making memories.

Walt Disney World is more than just a theme park—it's a place where imagination comes to life, where dreams are realized, and where nostalgia meets innovation. The magic of the parks can transport you to different worlds and ignite your imagination in ways that few other places can. Whether it's meeting your favorite Disney characters, experiencing thrilling rides, or enjoying spectacular shows and parades, Walt Disney World offers a wide range of experiences that cater to people of all ages and interests.

And for these reasons, I started my own Disney Travel Agency business in February 2024. As a Disney Travel Planner, I have the opportunity to help people plan their dream vacations, navigate the intricacies of booking accommodations, tickets, and dining reservations, and ensure they have the best possible experience during their trip. It can be rewarding to play a part in creating unforgettable moments for others and to share in their excitement and joy.

Using a Disney Travel Planner can make planning a Walt Disney World vacation much less stressful, particularly for first-time visitors who find the process overwhelming. I simplify things by handling reservations, creating itineraries, securing discounts, and more. I am well-versed in planning tricks like booking Advance Dining Reservations, using Genie+ and Lightning Lanes, navigating virtual queues, and creating efficient itineraries to avoid crowds.

Disney Travel Planners provide planning assistance at no extra cost, drawing on years of experience and frequent park visits.
