Smart Vending Machine of Taiwan Tech Campus
A campus is the epitome of a society. In the project we put the smart vending machine (SVM) in the campus to promote NTUST designers’ works with lovely animated interface, and connect with NTUST teachers and students. The transparent panel with touch interface diversifies the browsing process, extending the SVM function from sampling choosing items to multiple displaying and possibilities.
In the main page shows the corresponding mini NTUST campus. Every iconic building and place that students familiar with can be found in the map, including the fountain at the entrance and the shell-shaped conference hall. Short animations that recreate the unique, interesting lives in campus can be watched by pointing the buildings. Students can see themselves on the roof, watching new-year fireworks. Even the club-like conference hall at night, the cool school guard also can be found in the animation.
On the top of the main page is the syncing weather that uploads every 30 minutes. With 4 modes of weather - sunny, clear, cloudy and rainy—users can feel the connection inside the mini campus with the real world, experience the same environment condition.
