DESIGN BRIEF

The design concerns a folding roof cabin for cars. It is a foldable accommodation ideal for sleeping and resting during travels. This object when closed will give the impression of a trunk and when opened will create a space equivalent to a small room capable of providing accommodation for one or two people. This product will be addressed to the average traveler who is willing to spend the night in an alternative way and aims to fill in an affordable, safe and useful way his need for a short stay (2-3 days) in any destination regardless of the prevailing weather conditions . This combined with the need for travel covered by the car makes it a useful product that can be used throughout the year and for any purpose (business trip, sightseeing, etc.)

It will differentiate itself from common roof tents on the market in terms of the safety it will provide due to its robust yet lightweight construction with durable materials. This feeling will be attributed to the fact that there will be no fabric surface on the outer casing that would refer to a tent or awning. So the vision is to make a product of the type of ceiling tent which externally will consist of hard massive materials which will be resistant to the weather conditions that will prevail in areas with a Mediterranean climate. At the same time, it will make it capable of applying to a wide range of I.X. cars since it will not significantly affect the total weight during its transport and use.
