Pool Bus was a commissioned cover & welcome page for Illustoria Magazine #22 Invention Issue, a print magazine for creative kids and their grownups, published in the US.
The brief was very open and fun, to create a 3-dimensional invention that is non-purposeful or something complex that does simple things. The final illustrations feature a bus that bringing the pool & musics to everyone. For the characters in the illustration, I applied ink drawing for their outlines as this gives a better contrast to the ceramics sculpture.
