I captured this moment just around the corner from El Centro de Estudios Martianos, the cultural center where my study abroad group had classes in photography and Cuban culture. I like the convergence of the young girl leaving her doorstep and the sparrow’s flight so I title this "Leaving the Nest”, or alternatively, “First Steps”.
