Digital Self Portrait
Here I am in digital form, kinda creepy. Although it was weird staring at the tiny parts of my face for so long however, I enjoyed doing this. I think it turned out reather tame compared to other projects I have done. For some reason I couldn't get too crazy with this one. I look forward to doing more projects like this in the future. I learned a lot and now have some great ideas on changing the process.

I chose to base my infographic on Sleep Deprivation. I didn't realize what a large problem in the United States. I found this project to be interesting and fun. Sticking to a limited color pattern was difficult for me if you could imagine from my past projects.
Animal Illustration
Here is my Mystical, Mysterious, and oh so Marvelous Owl. I picked an owl because I think they are beautiful and intriguing creatures. I chose to go the non traditional route and have some fun with color when I designed him. I think that there is so much darkness at night that their true beauty is rarely seen. I wanted my owl to represent all the colors that an owl might want to be seen in had it not been a nocturnal animal. I absolutely loved this project. I look forward to many more like it. I hope you appreciate it.

So here we are in a sea of dingbats and this is all I could grasp onto. Figures, they’re all circle, I have something about order and uniformity (weird)… they’re all about the sea, I’m a water baby. They are all positive and negative; I’m pretty simple and easy going when it comes to this sort of thing. I tried to not make them look too cartoony (is that a word?) All things aside, I enjoyed this project. I found it extremely easy, once I get an idea stuck in my head I roll with it. I would like to expand on it, possibly either add more or do an entirely different set. If you get this in your Digital Illustration class, have fun!
