ERYTHROPOIESIS
Erythropoiesis is a dynamic process where stem cells in bone marrow develop into erythrocytes. Stimulated by erythropoietin, these cells produce hemoglobin, shedding their nucleus to become mature red blood cells. These cells then circulate through the bloodstream, transporting oxygen crucial for sustaining bodily functions.
