Synlab Capillary Blood Collection Kit
Synlab UK launched a Capillary Blood Collection Kit which is available to order online and delivered to clients. The kit enables the client to collect their own blood sample, which is then mailed back to the laboratory for analysis. In designing this product, it was essential to include a leaflet with instructions and illustrations to make the process as clear and easy to understand as possible. It further had to contain all the components to collect the sample. These components had to be packaged in such a way that the client will know intuitively which components to use first, how to collect the sample and finally, how to return it to the lab.
The instruction leaflet was design to not only explain the process, but also to provide spots for placement of the components. While collecting the sample, it further acts as a protective sheet that can be disposed afterwards.
