A Coffee & Tea Packaging Design

for Cafe de Papa

Cafe de Papa is an exquisite coffee brand that serves up a taste of France in the heart of Da Lat. Locals and visitors are drawn to the bistro's cosy and pleasant ambiance, which is created by blending touches of Vietnamese culture along with traditional French architecture. The brand's logo accentuates the French vibe of the area and was inspired by a classic window found in Paris. Key visual of the brand is made up of a series of vibrant vertical lines that mimic the milk foam in a latte art. This gives the traditional design a contemporary, whimsical feel. The coffee bags are easily recognised by their stripes, which are adorned with strokes inspired of latte art. It was remarkable when we implemented this visual to design product packaging for our consumers, as latte art is one of the most unique imagery to every coffe-holic.

In this exceptional project, we are granted the opportunity to design a one-of-a-kind and magnificent gift package for Cafe the Papa's broad product line, providing consumers with a thorough and enjoyable tasting of both artwork and tasty drinks. Let's explore the beauty of this city through the project images below.

By continuing the concept of a small street corner in Paris, we designed a packaging and gift box system for the Cafe de Papa project in the shape of small houses with distinctive striped umbrella roofs. The entire concept was titled "Maison Élégante," which translates to "elegant house." The gift packaging with Coffee and Tea Box inside a tiny-house, which was conceptualized to reuse the facade design from a real coffee shop. We would like to bring this iconic coffee shop simply go around the world to share their story with more people.

From coffee beans and tea to gift boxes, we experiment with a variety of materials, including paper, metal, and wood, to develop product packaging variations. The use of diverse materials while maintaining a consistent visual language has resulted in a unique and remarkable packaging solution for Cafe de Papa. We try to bring some iconic newspaper kiosks of Paris to the coffee bean packaging design and believe this design will not only create a unique box but also help to enhance the consistency of our big idea "A little Paris in Dalat".

Cafe de Papa offers a variety of choices, including traditional coffee, creative coffee blends, and a selection of teas. Cafe de Papa stands apart from other coffee shops in the region due to the outstanding taste of the coffee and the attention to detail in the making of each cup. Cafe de Papa is dedicated not just to serving high-quality coffee and food, but also to giving back to the community. The cafe obtains its ingredients locally and collaborates with local farmers and suppliers to benefit the local economy.
