Go Fish! is a collection of 26 silly underwater creatures, lovingly illustrated digitally, on an iPad. The illustrations were originally watercolor and marker pieces, that were scanned and then completely smudged and redrawn in Procreate.
The reason that I love this process, is that I get to keep the color palette and composition, from the real media piece, but then I get to add all this fun texture and cleaner shape design.

One of the fun challenges of creating a NeonMob collectible card set, is naming and writing descriptions for each piece. This was a lot of fun, to give each fish a personality!
Usually when I make illustrations, I use a strong graphic outline. But for this set, I thought I'd challenge myself to try a different style. And I ended up loving the look!
