Recycled fabric, newspaper, styrofoam, yarn

This burger that takes the form of a cow is made to spark thoughts and conversation on the environmental impact of meat and textiles production. Fashion and agriculture are two of the top 5 industries with highest carbon emissions, with nearly 60% of the world's agricultural land used for beef production; Eating beef burgers have a huge climate impact and are incredibly unsustainable.

The "meat" of the burger was crafted using recycled yarn to represent the cow's guts, while the buns were created to resemble the cow's skin. Finally, different color threads were intentionally used to create a contrasting effect in the overall piece. By characterizing the burger as a cow, I hope to make people more conscious of their consumption and think of the environmental impact of their diet.
