Norse Ring
For this project, I wanted to create a piece of jewellery linked with my Norse Mythology redesign project. During my visual research, I found an ancient Swedish symbol that the Norse believed warded off evil spirits and granted good luck. Creating a ring incorporated with this symbol would bring the wearer good luck.
The ring also has a secondary use as a wax seal stamp; this stamp could be used to seal letters and packages, granting them good luck. I wanted to cast these rings in silver; however, I underestimated the time it takes to cast a ring. I intend to return to this project and cast it in silver at one point.
