brief: the client tasked us to bring in the filipino classic, "pandesal" into a brand that fits their bright mornings, munching on their take of artisanal "pandesal" and coffee to sip on. the client stated that they wanted to bring in cultural roots since their ingredients come from the people of the philippines, local ingredients from local farmers.
solution: here, the design opted for was largely inspired by the sun of the philippines, specifically in the philippine flag and the "kataastaasan kagalang-galang na katipunan ng mga anak ng bayan" which is a historical revolutionary organization deeply rooted in the history of the philippines. additionally, filipino earth tones were used to take homage for the local farmers that are the stronghold of the agricultural forces in the philippines.
